How I Help

Internal teams fix what they can see.
I fix what actually drives performance.

My work uncovers the real causes of drift, rebuilds the structure that prevents it and embeds the routines, behaviours and evidence rules that make progress continuous, evidenced and dependable.

Step 1 - Independent Diagnostic (root cause, not symptoms)

Address root causes, not symptoms. I examine how your provision actually works - from sign‑up through in‑programme delivery to EPA prep and gateway - to reveal where progress stalls and why, so every action targets causes, not surface issues.

What I surface

  • Slippage masked by neat dashboards
  • Variance between trainers and teams
  • Weak or missing K/S/B evidence
  • Pressure points that trigger end‑loading
  • Gaps in employer contribution and readiness
  • Structural reasons apprentices drift past planned end dates

Leaders tell me this baseline gives them more clarity in 10 days than they receive internally in 10 months.

Step 2 - Co‑design Your Operating Model (with your people, not to them)

Every provider’s improvement journey is different - there is no template. We co‑design the model that fits your starting point, your culture and your operating environment, so change has ownership, not resistance.

This includes:

Delivery design

Staged K/S/B development, required evidence at each stage, purposeful employer touchpoints, and in‑programme checks so progress is built, evidenced and visible across the journey.

Readiness design

For EPA style standards, employers must be content the apprentice is occupationally competent before gateway. Mock EPA / equivalent practice is built into delivery so readiness is demonstrated in‑programme, not squeezed in before or after gateway.

The Operating Conditions for Consistent, Evidenced Progress

The Cornerstones create the conditions for consistent, evidenced progress: learning embedded in the workplace, OTJ that adds real value, assurance that catches drift early and reviews that drive action.

They form the operating system that stops end‑loading and keeps performance stable - even as accountability tightens.

Step 3 - Implementation & Rollout (activation, not theory)

Briefings, rollout and coaching to embed the right tools and behaviours - lifting on‑the‑job effectiveness and impact for apprentices and employers.

Ideal when capacity is stretched and results are needed now.

Step 4 - Ongoing Monitoring & Optimisation (sustain & strengthen)

Consistency is key: we track the right performance measures weekly, monthly and quarterly to reinforce and sustain improvement, with scalable follow-up to evaluate progress, prove impact and optimise as circumstances evolve.
